Try your Hand at Blacksmithing

Come try your hand at Blacksmithing for a day at Peters Valley School of Craft! In this introductory workshop we will lay the foundations for a journey into the blacksmithing world. This class is designed for people who have never used a coal forge before. We will focus on starting and maintaining a coal fire, and basic hammer control techniques. Everyone can expect to walk away with a small piece to take home such as hooks, bottle openers, key chains, or fire-pokers. This workshop runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch is included for all participants.
