Plaster & Micro-Cement Applications & Preparations with Sylvia T. Designs

As part of PRC’s Building Trades Master Class Series, plaster artisan Sylvia Thompson-Dias of Sylvia T. Designs will focus this class on the correct substrate, how to navigate pre-existing substrates, and the preparation of a surface before application. The presentation will teach how to deal with moisture and drainage, how to prevent cracking, and working with paint. Attendees will gain a general understanding of the plaster and micro-cement process to better support clients and historic buildings.
