Women’s+ Intro to the Woodshop Class

It’s time! Conquer your fears and discover the joys of using a wide variety of power tools in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. We’ll learn the basics of working with wood as we gain hands-on experience with the table saw, chop saw, router, jigsaw and drill press. Each student will build a Shaker-style bench to take home.
This course is intended for students who may be marginalized because of their gender identity including, but not limited to, women, non-binary or transgender people. Learn more about our courses for affinity groups.
