DIRECTOR OF HISTORIC TRADES

Natalie directs The Campaign for Historic Trades, a national workforce development program. She leads the team’s operations and strategic goals to fulfill its mission to expand and strengthen careers in the historic trades. She served as a Board Member and Secretary for the Preservation Trades Network and is currently a board member of the National Preservation Institute.

Natalie earned her AAS from Savannah Technical College’s Historic Preservation and Restoration Program in 2013. During and after this program, she’s worked in hands-on preservation with various non-profits, construction companies, and federal agencies. From 2014 through 2019, Natalie worked on seasonal, cross-country projects with HistoriCorps. In 2016, she founded Henshaw Preservation LLC in Savannah, Georgia. It started by offering general preservation services and now specializes in window restoration.

Natalie has also worked extensively in educational fields. She has taught extracurricular classes, English in China, TEFL as an online tutor, United States and world history with Savannah Technical College (STC), and historic preservation with STC and Lamar Community College (LCC). She managed LCC’s Historic Building Trades Program. Natalie enjoys traveling and hiking, and typically follows lawful good alignment.

Jordan Riggs

Jordan Riggs

Recruitment and Outreach Manager

Jordan has been with The Campaign for Historic Trades since August 2021 and currently serves as the Recruitment & Outreach Manager. She manages communications and programmatic messaging for people interested in pursuing historic trades careers and training. You can often find her at conferences, hands-on trades rodeos, and career fairs educating people about apprenticeship opportunities and getting more young adults interested in historic trades careers.

Jordan also oversees communication with apprentices in the field and manages the Historic Trades Ambassador Program, which engages partners in sharing our mission and educational resources.
Jordan holds a B.A. in History and M.A. in Public History with a Cultural Resource Management certificate from West Virginia University. She is passionate about sharing history and preservation resources with the next generation.

Andrea Barber

PROJECTS Manager

Andrea Barber has been with The Campaign for Historic Trades since August 2023, initially serving as a Special Projects Associate before transitioning into the role of Project Manager, where she coordinates with team members on the design, progress, and reporting of The Campaign’s various projects. She holds an A.A. in Social Sciences with a concentration in History from Frederick Community College and a B.A. in History from Hood College.

Her interest in historic preservation began during an internship with the National Park Service’s Cultural Resource Manager at Gettysburg National Military Park. That experience introduced her to the field and led her to the decision to pursue a career in historic preservation. She is especially interested in how preservation connects people to places and the stories they hold. In her role, she’s committed to supporting projects that make historic trades more accessible to others who share a passion for this work.

Kelly Pratt is the Training Coordinator for The Campaign for Historic Trades, managing the planning, coordination, and administration of hands-on workshops nationwide. She develops outreach content, facilitates instructor engagement, oversees logistics, and fosters partnerships with preservation organizations and trades professionals. Kelly has coordinated workshops on cemetery preservation and masonry and plays a key role in expanding training opportunities for tradespeople.

Kelly holds a B.A. in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington and is pursuing an M.P.S. in Cultural and Heritage Resource Management at the University of Maryland. With experience in cemetery preservation, community engagement, and archaeology, she focuses on preserving historic sites and increasing opportunities for volunteers and skilled trades professionals.

Prior to joining The Campaign, Kelly spent five years teaching ESL in China and served with AmeriCorps, supporting literacy education. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring historic cemeteries, traveling, and learning about different cultures.

Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson

Outreach Associate / Maryland Corps

Ryan Anderson is an Outreach Associate for The Campaign for Historic Trades through the Maryland Corps/Service Year program. She works closely with Recruitment & Outreach Manager Jordan Riggs to connect people to training and career opportunities in historic trades by creating outreach materials, coordinating events, and building relationships with workforce development partners.

Ryan earned her Bachelor of Science in History from Towson University in 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a Historical Research Assistant with the international nonprofit Cuala Foundation, contributing to projects that highlighted Irish history and culture. She also brings over four years of customer service experience, which strengthened her skills in communication and community engagement.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys exploring historical areas and architecture, traveling, reading, listening to nonfiction audiobooks and podcasts, and spending time in nature.
