This class is for individuals who would like to learn to forge in a physically and emotionally safe environment. Participants will learn proper usage and techniques for both hand tools and power tools while making figurative spatulas. This workshop will focus on forging at the anvil, power hammer, and cold working techniques. A figurative spatula is a story-telling object and a great learning exercise for blacksmithing. This workshop is for women, non-binary and trans folks who have no experience at all, to those who have some experience but want a space to ask questions and push their skills.

Workshops run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
Lunch is included for all participants

**We plan workshops 6-12 months in advance and make every effort to accurately calculate material costs. Due to fluctuating costs of materials, we will notify you 2 weeks in advance of the start of your workshop if the price has increased. Typically this will be a marginal fee of $10-$50.

Level: Beginner and Beyond
Type: Blacksmithing
Ages: Adult
