Carpenter

Job Summary: Our team includes project managers, foremen, carpenters, and apprentices. We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join us at the carpenter level.
Job Qualifications: R&B is looking for a qualified and skilled carpenter, preferably with carpentry training from a trade school, such as the American College of Building Arts, Thaddeus Stevens, the North Bennett Street School or similar, with at least five years of experience working on historic buildings.
Job Description: An R&B Carpenter is expected to plan and execute carpentry tasks using a full range of woodworking techniques and tools, including traditional methods. He/she must be able to work with limited instruction, work on one’s own, if needed, and work as a team with our other carpenters.
Our work is mostly performed on site, though we have a shop for work that would more efficiently be undertaken in a controlled environment.
Pay: $30.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and capability.

Physical Demands / Work Environment: Carpentry is physically demanding and involves carrying and holding materials, safely operating power tools, and working from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts. Some work will be performed at heights, and some tasks may require working in tight spaces.
