The NY Statewide Preservation Conference is going virtual once again! This means you can attend from anywhere in the world, including the comfort of your own couch. It also means we can bring you a wide variety of speakers—who represent grassroots advocates, experts in the field, and emerging professionals—from across the country.

This year, we’re focusing on the future of preservation. Some of the questions we’ll be asking:

  • How does preservation have to change to remain relevant?
  • What does the future of preservation look like in a post-George Floyd and post-COVID world?
  • How can we expand our preservation practice to be inclusive of the full American story?
  • Does the preservation field need to update long held standards or find ways to work creatively within them?

We hope that you will join the conversation and pose your own hard questions to fellow attendees and speakers alike. Or maybe you have answers and ideas of your own; we want to hear those too!

The NY Statewide Preservation Conference is the only event of its kind in the state—a multi-day gathering for anyone involved in preservation and community revitalization. It’s an opportunity to learn, network, become inspired and, yes, have fun! It is the preservation event in New York State and you don’t want to miss it.

Your Conference registration includes: an intensive, pre-Conference training session on Tuesday, two full days of breakout sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, and a Keynote presentation from Elon Cook Lee.  Register here: https://www.landmarksociety.org/conference/

Presented by: Rochester Colonial Manufacturing
