Spring Evenings Beginning Blacksmithing

Join us as the weather warms, but before summer blazes in the blacksmith shop for our Spring Evenings Beginners Course. This class is designed to appeal to students who are interested in blacksmithing but the time commitments and scheduling of our weekend and weeklong classes may pose a difficulty. This will be a four week course, three hours per session, going over basic blacksmithing techniques. We will cover coal forge use, and hand forging techniques. Folks can expect to get started on hooks, utensils, key chains and bottle openers. Our goal will be to provide an in-depth coverage of the basics and lay a foundation for you to take your interests further or find your niche within the craft community. This workshop is open to anyone age 13 and over.
