Join the Wisconsin Historical Society for the 17th annual Local History & Historic Preservation Conference! This year, we are excited to return to a fully in-person experience featuring dynamic speakers, interactive workshops and engaging breakout sessions. Registration includes access to all conference sessions and workshops, as well as networking and tour opportunities. Workshops with limited space require advanced registration. Registration also includes breakfast, snacks and lunch provided at the conference center.
Join colleagues from around the state and beyond as we exchange ideas and share our vision for the future of local history and historic preservation in Wisconsin, the Midwest and the nation. Under the theme of “Centering Community: Exploring the Intersection of Community, Identity and History,” our keynote speakers share perspectives on how considering, interpreting and preserving history has changed in the 21st century.
