Colonial Williamsburg’s Working Wood in the 18th Century Conference

On January 22 to 25 of 2026 the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is hosting its Annual Working Wood Conference. This years theme is United We Sit: Exploring Early American Chair!

Each conference held by Colonial Williamsburg offers a number of in-person and virtual scholarships. These scholarships are available to students and industry professionals.

In-Person scholarships receive a paid-in-full registration to attend the main program, receptions and dinner. Recipients will also receive access to the streaming platform to view presentations after the conference, and a ticket voucher for a 7-day visit to Colonial Williamsburg to be redeemed by December 31, 2026.  In-person scholarships may include accommodations but do not include travel.

Virtual scholarships receive a paid-in-full registration to all virtual presentations as well as a ticket voucher for a 7-day visit to Colonial Williamsburg to be redeemed by December 31, 2026.
