Rooted in place-based analysis, this course explores Vermont’s architectural history—from Indigenous dwellings to contemporary sustainable design. You’ll examine how the built environment reflects the state’s landscape, values, and evolving social and economic conditions, gaining a deeper understanding of Vermont’s design legacy.
Class Schedule: February 2 – March 9, Monday Evenings from 6-7:30pm
Experience Level and Prerequisites: Students should have basic computer literacy and be comfortable using Zoom and Google Drive platforms.
Credits: 9 AIA Credits, 1 Sterling College CEUs
