Monday through Friday 9:00 to 3:30 for 13 Weeks
In the 13 week program, students receive instruction in all of the welding processes we offer at the school – GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW. In addition, students are also trained in oxy fuel and plasma cutting, carbon arc gouging, and the use of basic hand tools (grinders, fit-up tooling, etc.). The goal of this course is to have students prepared enough so that they are "ready to go" on the first day of employment.

The 13 week Pipe Welding Program prepares a student for pipe certification following AWS and ASME Section IX welding codes. Instruction consists of coupon preparation, welding technique, and troubleshooting for pipe welding in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions using E6010 or ER70S-2 (GTAW/Tig) in the root pass and E7018 in the fill and cover passes.
The intent of this class is to take the novice MIG welder and show them the skills it takes to become an AWS certified welder. This course is designed in response to our societies current economic and job dilemma, this intense and affordable course will strengthen your job skills. This course will ONLY be covered in steel, no stainless or aluminum will be covered.
