Historic Wood Window Restoration Certification Level III (Living Heritage Trades Academy)

The Living Heritage Trades Academy certificate programs ,offered by the City of San Antonio’s Office of Historic Preservation, are  ideal for anyone interested in learning about the tools, materials and methods used to repair the wood windows, siding and framing typically found in pre-1960 construction. Set yourself apart in the construction industry with these specialized skills.

The Level III certificate program provides hands on traditional trades training, safety training, and a paid apprenticeship at no charge to eligible participants.

• 1 Week Training Course
• Safety Training & Certification
• 8 Week Paid Apprenticeship, at $15/hour, supervised by an experienced host contractor.

Eligible participants will also receive free financial counseling and support services provided by Family Service Financial Empowerment Center. Job readiness training provided by Restore Education.
This is an approved SA Ready to Work training program.
